Celebrate Learning Week Event: Celebrating Educational Leadership

Registration is closed for this event
You're invited to participate in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences' annual Celebrate Learning Week event: Celebrating Educational Leadership.

Educational leadership is becoming increasingly important across UBC but what it means, how to document it, and how it maps onto the teaching and learning activities of faculties remains unclear. Celebrating Educational Leadership intends to explore this issue. Morning plenary and panel discussions will feature perspectives from institutional- and Faculty-level educational leaders. An afternoon workshop will focus on educational scholarship, a specific form of educational leadership.

Admission is free but registration is required. Continental breakfast will be provided.

The deadline to register is Monday, May 2, 2016. If you have any questions please contact Dr. Simon Albon at simon.albon@ubc.ca or 604-822-2497.

Download the event agenda.
Download the abstract for Dr. Simon Bates' talk.
